Today, we will talk about the Gulf Coast League Rays. The GCL Rays went 19-36 for the season finishing last in the division.
Rules? Players have to have pitched in at least 25 games to qualify for the vote.
Here is a list of all the pitchers who appeared this year for the 2009 GCL Rays:
Wilmer Almonte. 20 years old. Almonte went 3-2 with a 3.32 ERA over 62.1 innings and had a 1.12 WHIP.
Brad Furdal. 19 years old. Furdal went 1-5 with a 3.86 ERA over 51.1 innings and sported a 1.42 WHIP.
