I was just looking over the '09 schedule and I noticed a couple of things
-Our schedule is front and back loaded with NYY/BOS games. Of the 36 times we play them only 7 games(all against the NYY) are located in the middle of the season.
- We play 10 games against the Red Sox by May 10th. Then don't play them again for another 85 days. Not until August 4th
-The stretch from April 30th to May 10th is by far the toughest of the year. After getting back from a 9 game roadtrip with 6 of those games on the west coast(Oak, Sea) and no day off in between any of it we face 4 games vs Bos, 2 games vs Bal, 2 games @NYY, 3 games @ Bos.
