When done correctly i'm guessing there's next to no difference from traditional means and adds the perk of costing less. With zero travel fees and having a nearly unlimited applicant pool -- full of eager college age types hoping for a point on their résumé -- it's easy to see why this method is attractive to a team lower on the revenue curve.
