New Relief Arms F/x

As you can see, Shouse's sinker dives in to lefties while his slider is a nice complement, breaking away. Neither is thrown exceptionally hard.

Both of Nelson's main pitches break in to righties, and they have to look remarkably alike to the hitter, causing confusion.

So Cormier added that splitter, and saw an immediate step-up in performance. Probably because he used it in place of his fastball, which looks awfully straight.

R. J. have you thought about using centered data labels
in the bubbles to show the speed? I like the new presentation format it conveys a lot of information, but it is impossible to gauge speed, only differential.
Why yes, I am this big of an asshole in person.
Yes, I originally did those.
I’ll add them back from now on.

My prediction is Cormier is DFA'd and passes through to AAA
I think it makes sense(especially with him really fixing up his change up) for Price to start off the season in the rotation and Niemann should be in the pen. I am not a big fan of moving a SP to RP mid season, especially a guy like Niemann and all his past injuries.
