Lincecum >> Price >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Pujols.
IMHO.

I'm not sure if anyone had ever been >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Pujols
I don’t see how you can say that. At least not yet. He could be a hall of fame pitcher and still not be > than Pujols

In fantasy baseball drafting. I would take Pujols below those two any day.

Unless you are Pujols' elbow and you're willing to rip yourself in half to prove a ridiculous point, no.
Space.
It's a problem we face.
So we never go anywhere.
We just stay in one place.

There was absolutely nothing amazing about Hellen Keller's story.
IMHO.

Pujols or Hanley Ramirez should be the first pick in a "traditional" fantasy draft.
I love Price as much as the next guy, and believe he will live up to the hype, but to put him ahead of the NL Cy Young and NL MVP is just silly.

What you said above is = as stupid as mine.

Not really.
If I was putting my drafting list together for fantasy baseball I would pick Price of Lincecum over Pujols, which is what this article is asking.

I hope you're in my DRB Fantasy league

uh I would take Price later because he might not even start with team.

Agreed
Every indication from the Rays shows that they are going to restrict the number of innings he pitches. If he starts with the team, it’s likely out of the bullpen. Dusty Baker is not this team’s manager.

Well then Price wouldn't be your number one then.
He wouldn’t be mine either, as I said Lincecum would be. Who would be yours?

Pujols...
You can find people to fill the W’s, Whip and other fantasy stats easily on the board. I also usually take pitchers later.

Well my strategy is pitchers first so hence why I stated "IMHO".
by Sylar on Feb 28, 2009 7:48 PM EST up reply actions 0 recs
That's a losing strategy
Unless you really go overboard with the pitchers at first, like the first 10 rounds, and then scour the waiver wire all season for every Aviles type of season. Pitchers are too volatile, you either need a lot of luck of a lot of backup plans if you’re going to start valuing 2 pitchers with less than 2 full season total over Pujols (who is basically a consensus top 5, usually top 3).
I thought about doing this is a league with my buddies from college, since wavier wire pitching almost never exists in that league, but thought better of it.

It's worked for me before, I usually always make the playoffs.
Guess it’s mostly dumb luck though, or I have the touch (ask NeoGAF about my ability to pick ;) )
