"It appears that we have reached an impasse and that we will be going to arbitration on Monday,'' Almerico said. "After that, I hope to resume negotiations on a long-term deal so Navi can play in Tampa for the rest of his career. But that may depend on how the Rays present their case and whether the Rays treat Navi respectfully at the hearing as Navi has instructed us to treat the Rays throughout this entire process.''
Not so good news from Navi's Agent, Kendall Almerico via the Heater.

Meh
I would be pissed if they signed him to a LTD after a career year. This quote is retarded:
But that may depend on how the Rays present their case and whether the Rays treat Navi respectfully at the hearing
If Navi hears a single word said during arb., then that’s retarded.
I wouldn't be thrilled
Molina is worth a lot more than Navarro. I realize they both looked similar last year, but both are due for a regression in opposite directions, and it’s pretty universally acknowledged that Molina is the better defender.
Vogt early, Vogt often.

It was about respect.

Anyway, as I was lying in the puddle, I think I may have found a way for us to get Bonds and Griffey, and we wouldn't have to give up that much.

I don't know why many people
think Navarro is due for a serious regression. I think he has just as good a chance to improve. Until 2008, he had generally taken a pretty good number of walks. His 2008 BABIP was a little high (.318), but his line drive rate was also pretty good (23.5%), and in line with most of his major league career. So while his BA may decline some, there is no reason to think it will collapse while there is some reason to be optimistic about his BB rate improving to realign with his career norms.
I don’t think Navarro is a star, but I do think he can be a steady .275/.350/.400 hitter and a solid defensive player. Not bad for a catcher, and given Molina’s aversion to walks, at least as promising as Yadier. And we really must keep in mind how young Navarro is, just 25 and in the majors since he was 21. Given what seemed to be a definite take charge attitude in 2008, he seems to be maturing very nicely. The common cracks about his weight are really kind of silly at this point. He came into 2008 in very good shape and was a solid performer all year.
I love Navi and I think he will be good for a while
but that agent of his makes me wish we drafted Posey, he seems like such a deuce.

I think Navi could reach your numbers
but I don’t think it’s a good idea to count on a BB rate rebound. It’s been in decline since reaching Tampa (ISO OBP has dropped marginally each year). I think his BB rate was elevated by his early years batting 8th in LA, so I don’t see that rebounding for sure.
But he should still be okay.
