Shields Dominates Minor Leaguers
RHP James Shields was sharp in his start Tuesday at the minor league complex, throwing five shutout innings while striking out five and giving up just one hit.
Shields was pretty happy with his outing, which lasted 65 pitches for Durham against Fort Myers at Charlotte Sports Park. The right-hander said he worked in breaking balls this outing, throwing "around five or six good ones.".

Oh let me repost the Joyce thing
More good news
OF Matt Joyce, sidelined all spring with right leg tendinitis, said he physically felt “great” after his first spring game action, a minor league exhibition with Durham against Fort Myers.
Joyce had three at-bats as DH, going 0-2 with a walk and strike out. He also got some workbaserunning – he scored a run in the first, and got picked off first in the fifth). But while the results weren’t what he’d like, Joyce was encouraged with how he felt afterwards.
“Everything felt great – nothing with the calf,” Joyce said. “Legs felt a little bit like jello, but for the first day out there, it’s expected Now the body’s just got ot catch up with everything, with the mind. But the leg feels great.”/blockquote>
He will finally play for us Thursday, it will be nice to see.

No problem
I was muted too, I’m just thinking about it more now that I’m reading the site all the time while at work.
I just hover over the links...
then don’t go to any that aren’t baseball related (IE no youtube, aolvideo, etc.).
