AL Official: Wade Davis of the Rays was the most impressive young minor leaguer I saw this spring
He throws 95 mph, and one of the days I saw him, he was unhittable. And right now, all of the Rays' young players look pretty good."

I really like our rotation with Sonny and Niemann as the 4/5
assuming Niemann wins out. I think its easily one of the best rotations in the league.
I’m not sure I can even wrap my head around Price and Davis filling out the back end.
Eh, no.
Not really. Although, in fairness, we’d probably be talking about Davis getting the call in May if Price wasn’t here.
There's not a lot to explain.
Price is simply blocking Davis at this point I think. If Sonny struggles through the first six weeks or so I’m sure they’ll look at replacing him with Davis if he continues to pitch as well as he has.
Davis is probably ready. Its just that, well, so it Price.
It's basically 1 and 1a.
You could probably go with either one right now and be ok.

“No. 1: Detroit looks terrible. The Tigers’ pitching is a mess, and their position players are out of position — Miguel Cabrera is a designated hitter playing first base, and they’ve got their first baseman (Carlos Guillen) playing in left field.”

If he is, he's wrong.
Verlander will be their opening day starter, Jackson is their #2
