Matt Joyce in Air Cast and Wade Davis Nearing Durham

Joyce report: The Rays plan an update today on the condition of OF Matt Joyce, who has been sidelined all spring with a lower right leg problem. Joyce, acquired in a trade from Detroit, has been seen by several doctors and Saturday was wearing an air cast on his ankle. Maddon said Joyce told him he was "feeling better."

Also worth mentioning: Wade Davis is likely to be sent to minor league camp following his outing tomorrow. Depending on what occurs with David Price, Davis could be the opening day starter for Durham.

I heard a story of a guy with a leg cast that was completley made of cocaine.

Maybe he is wearing one of those and will start feeling better.

Davis….. I hope you are the Opening Day starter at Durham, I thought you would have a longer looker but I guess with all the normal SP’s along with Niemann, Talbot, and Hammel making starts, there was simply no time for you.
