We cannot lose with BK in the house.

I would encourage this young man to drop out of school and go everywhere the team goes.

Do what you love to do and give it your very best. Whether it's business or baseball, or the theater, or any field. If you don't love what you're doing and you can't give it your best, get out of it. Life is too short. You'll be an old man before you know it.

so I work in Human Resources as a Recruiter

and a guy just applied to one of our jobs. His last job was a Pitch f/x Operator.

I thought that was kinda cool.

Ferg's

I am already antsy to get down to St Pete. Is it acceptable for a grown man to cry at a baseball game?

get yourself good and drunk

and blame it on that. Then you’re all good.

If anyone is sitting in club 105 ...

Please write a few words on here about it. I am thinking of getting tickets there for Saturdays’ game. Not sure if I want to spend that money for those seats if they are not worth it.

Thanks.

Nice to see 1,000 new seats.

Wonder where they all are. Club 105 accounts for about 100 of them.

I'm going to the game!

Buddy called up today who got a pair in 116 from a friend for free.

Great Monday surprise but no gear with me at all as the call came when I had already left home :(

I'm listening to XM

and Kevin Kennedy keeps talking about the Rays like he does not work for them.

“They let the fans in at….”

“Their place is…..”

This drives me nuts. Is it just me or should he be saying we or us?

Yeah, when Kennedy is analyzing the games for the Rays

It’s like he doing a National telecast. He tries to stay impartial. Which is all good and well. When can we have Jonny Gomes behind the mic?

In the name of Shinji Mori, we shall win!

Ron Santo thinks Johnny Gomes should get behind the mic...

I know I hate it

I want a Rays fan behind the mike of our telecasts.

When the radio guys came on board a couple years ago they instantly sounded like Rays fan. I don’t think Kennedy will ever care about the Rays. He sure doesn’t sound like he does

This makes me feel all warm & fuzzy

Evan Longoria is kind of talented.

When the Rays drafted Longoria, he was touted as a defensive whiz with potential to be an above average hitter. The latter part has turned out to be a massive understatement. He hit a major league leading five home runs during the opening week of the season, flashing massive power. He even added four doubles, so nine of his 13 hits have gone for extra bases. Oh, and he made contact with 88.4% of the pitches he swung at. That kind of contact + power ability is only found in the best of the best. Longoria isn’t just a good young player – he’s a remarkably talented superstar in the making. He’s Ryan Braun with gold glove defense at third base. This is the kind of player you build dynasties around.
