Raysing the Banners
Fairly self explanatory pics, but fanshots need 75 words.
The Braintrust
Papa Bear
The injured soldiers lead the charge.
Rays players appear somewhat lost and confused
Crawford and Upton: 'Can't we just dominate New York already?'
Friedman: 'You're not allowed to touch my banner unless you sign a below-market contract extension!'
Dan Wheeler ponders whether the banner will be considered part of the D-Ring
Banner #2 > Banner #1
Gabe Gross and Ben Zobrist look to the sky for inspiration.
Women converse while soldiers protect our banners from the Yankee threat.
Pena, Martinez, Crawford, and Upton stand in awe as Longoria claps (or picks his nose)
Navarro claps while Stu gives his 'Yep, I'm the shit!' look.

Great shots
Our angle from the corner wasn’t the best for photos, may have to steal yours to add to the collection.
After the ceremony I asked my wife “I wonder how they’ll top that next year” (meaning the whole troops abseiling from the catwalk thing) and she shot back with “By adding a World Series pennant”…

you mean instead of assassinating them on the field like last night....?

I don't get the need for the soldiers in full battle gear.
Just in uniform would be fine, all the guns screams white trash.

I felt pretty confident that they had no intentions of using them on fans
I didn’t feel so confident tailgating out in front of Dolphin Stadium before the NC game this January.

Oh, Miami-Dade police.
