Best case scenario

I think he could be up May 2010. Unlikely though, especially considering the injury history.

Yeah, that seems reasonable.

Service time is going to matter with Deezy, considering he’s Carl’s likely replacement. Don’t want that click ticking too soon.

Of course not

But position players generally can be moved more quickly than pitchers, especially if they’re already plus defenders. Longoria only spent a season and change in the minors, so we know they’re willing to do it with a refined prospect.

The thought of having a Crawford-Upton-Jennings outfield for a half a season pretty much makes me cream myself.
