Around SBN: NFL Week One: Previews and Predictions for all 15 games

A bold prediction from me....

I am predicting a no hitter this season, our first, of course.

I will predict Garza and here's why.

James Shields - A definate option but I don't see it....for some reason
Scott Kazmir - The stuff to shut a team down but may not be efficient enough to throw a no hitter under about 150+ pitches
Matt Garza - He flirted with no hitters like 3 times last season and he can simply shut down an offense for a full 9 innings
Andy Sonnanstine - He can be very good but I just see him making 1 mistake even if he was on the best.
David Price - We all know about the stuff but will he be able to or be allowed to go for a complete game?
Jeff Niemann - He is possible but he will prob only have like 8-10 starts
Other - Talbot? Davis? Hernandez? Someone out of no where? Would be interesting to see but that wont be happening
Won't happen - Why do you hate baseball? I mean, why must you take the safe route?!

You know who's got my vote, 150+ pitches, you out yo GD mind boy.

Do what you love to do and give it your very best. Whether it's business or baseball, or the theater, or any field. If you don't love what you're doing and you can't give it your best, get out of it. Life is too short. You'll be an old man before you know it.

Most Likely No-Hitter:Garza, he’s teased us a few times.

Most Likely Perfect Game:Shields, still hard to get my head around the fact that he was a single up the middle away from perfection in that game versus the Angels in May.

This is something I was thinking about

thanks to the stingy bastards that populate this site it’s been a long time since anything was rec’d to sidebar. Perhaps we need to lower it since I know I’ve seen quality in these parts. Even if it has been drier than the river Styx during the drought of ought-4.

Garza

When he’s on, he’s got the best stuff in the rotation, imo. until I see otherwise, Kazmir’s still a smidge to shaky. Shields is also a good candidate, but I’m still leaning towards Garza.

AL East 2009:

1. Rays
2. Sox
3. Yankees
