It took me until this morning to figure out where you were going with this.

Just an FYI, this tweet wasn’t directed to me; he was responding to a tweet yesterday by the DRB account where someone said “Rocco on the DL…has that ever occurred before?” If I had seen the tweet I probably wouldn’t have bothered posting the story because it’s really not relevant other then to insight laughter amongst ourselves for all the Baldelli lovers wanting the Rays to sign him back because he was going to be physically reliable. Here he plays a whole 6 games and poor guy is hurt again. Sucks for him for sure, but obviously this is an “I told you so.”

These were the people that harped on the front office for letting Rocco go.

Rocco is a great guy and I wish him the best, but you knew this could and would happen.

Exactly.

I wanted Rocco to come back because he is a great guy, have had convos with him, and one of my favorite guys. Hell the dude did a drawing of my Garza sign for me how can I hate him? It’s just he got more money from Boston, which is good for him get that paper while he can, and he is a health concern. It sucks for him but isn’t surprising that he is back on DL.
