Johnny Comeback!
From deep within his grandmother's basement, Johnny Comeback takes a break from his spreadsheets and slide rule to answer your toughest Rays and baseball-related questions. Johnny will choose a few of the toughest and publish his answers in the next issue of Inside Pitch -- the official gameday publication of the Tampa Bay Rays, available for free to all fans attending Rays games at Tropicana Field.

Unless you can come to Rocky Point I probably need to wait until another day

You know those cookie-cutter looking office buildings that are vastly overpriced because the Bay is right there?
And the houses that try to look fancy but really you’re wondering how fast you’d have to evacuate if a hurricane came through?
Also known as that section of 60 between the Airport and the start of the Courtney Campbell.

How the hell can you not know what Rocky Point is? New to Tampa Bay?

I'm really dissapointed in the lack of "recs" here. Johnny Comeback is probably the funniest thing since Dr. Stat

They Rays marketing department seems to have an anti-Sabr bias (despite the front office's acumen)
You may remember Dr. Stat, the nemesis of The Defenders of the Game!

This is probably the front office's idea.
Trying to trick other teams into thinking they hate stats.
If it works only once, then it’s brilliant.

Or they have keen understanding of the Tampa Bay Area fanbase

Oh, you mean like how people said Wall Street guys didn't know baseball?
Haha, they were so right!
It’s not like stock is similar to baseball or anything.

I'm pretty much a fan of populist anger anywhere it pops up.
It’s what almost got David Duke elected to governor of LA

I've known him since I was 8
9th round pick of the Rangers… ran a 6.1 60 yd dash!
Seems unlikely.
He’d be running for Team USA if he did.
Tools Whore
It was laser timed
He’s already been released and playing college football now
You've done this a few times IIRC.

I don't recall doing it often.
This was when Ichiro hit the home run and I didn’t look at which tab I had open.
