"At what point do we start giving Longoria the "Bonds treatment"? I'd walk this guy with the bases loaded right now. Better to give up 1 run than 4. Wouldn't surprise me at all to see the previous seasons Rookie of the Year go on to win the AL MVP for the 2nd season in a row.
Lucky for us, after tomorrow we don't see Tampa again til August. And even then will be too soon. Feel free to ask for a move to the NL, Tampa. Pleaseeeeeeeeeee."

Well of course, there's no rational sense to walking Longoria with the bases loaded.

There was no sense in doing it to Bonds or Hamilton either, but sometimes gut instinct takes over and you do dumb things.
