Couldn't really tell from the stands
But were Balfour and Shouse getting squeezed a bit? Was Ellsbury out at third?
Somewhat, but nothing that egregious, and no.
I can only imagine how frustrating that was to watch in person!

No, the Red Sox fans were very humble about things when they went for and against their team
No sense of entitlement, taunting of home fans, or generally acting as if they own the entire game of baseball.
As you’d expect.
Just want to point this out:
Hahaha, There is a 0% chance of Hatton Winning. Pacquiao is a better Mayweather, and Mayweather annihilated that bad toothed monster

Hatton's got that gritty tough white boy thing that people love so much.
I hate it.

Heh, not any more. I suspect he now has cerebral palsey

It’s scary to think that if you remove the Video Games numbers from Longoria & Pena, The Rays would probably be competing for who gets the first pick with the Nationals at this point in time(Obviously they wouldn’t be THAT low in the standings at the end with the pitching though.) The Leader of RBIs & the Leader in HRs in the ML yet only a record of 10-15 is pretty amazing.
Interesting Things I noticed about their pace:
Pena hit his 11th HR of the year on June 3rd in both 2007 & 2008, compared to the 11th in 2009 on May 2(LOOK OUT BONDS LOL) at-bat ratio is 128 in 2007, 203 in 2008 to 93 now. 27th RBI on May 27, 2007 & May 24, 2008, 104 at-bats in 2007, 171 in 2008. Considering Longoria is eating up some of the production numbers plus the poor performances at the top of the lineup that his speed is double of last year and better than his MVP-type 2007 season gives me a warm & fuzzy feeling.
Longoria in his AL ROY season reached his numbers on May 24(HRs) and June 9(RBIs) Considering that he’s just missed some HRs by a few feet and the fact that he never gets pitches to deposit in the seats his HRs should be at a crazier rate this year(same with Pena with a couple of fouls). 7th came on May 1 and 30th RBI on May 2 in a 87 2009 at-bats to 137 2008 ones and 92 to 192 also. So 50 & 100% faster rates-he’s doing a good Manny impression with the bat so far.-Can we add another few years to that Contract?
Best 3-4 pair probably in baseball at the moment. If only the rest of the team wasn’t so bad: 59 of 185, 36R, 15 2Bs(Longoria has 12 which leads the MLs which is crazy), 1 3B, 18 HRs, 57 RBIs, 130 TBs, 22BBs(.319/.391/.703-1.094OPS) compared to 173 of 675, 86R, 42 2Bs, 1 3B, 14HRs, 63RBIs, 256TBs, 74 BBs(.256/.330/.379-.709OPS) HBPs-omitted. 47Ks/185ABs(.254) to 152Ks/675(.225)-includes all players, activate or not.
Upton is an out machine at the top right now, sub-200 plus an insane strikeout pace, just isn’t putting it into play or in good places, totally killing us when we get guys on. Crawford seems to do better with guys on as to his free swinging and is getting better numbers, just needs a SLG percent that’s actually decent(like hitting a HR). Burrell got his power stoled sadly so far, drawing the walks & making contact, just not enough HRs considering. Zobrist is full of benchy goodness when he plays especially compared to the Gabe platoon which is proving horrid(although Gross has 10 BBs amazingly). Iwamura is making a good offensive case to stay even without a HR, seems to be better at the bottom. Bartlett, w00t, Silver Slugger please, sadly he didn’t play tonight, would’ve helped and is in the midst of an injury, totally stealing his pretty stats away. More infield hits & SBs to make the other team look silly are needed. Navarro, life must hate him because that’s so much anti-offense, although he’s starting to hot make worthless outs as much now. Hopefully 2008 Navarro beats down 2007 Navarro(did he change some of his swinging mechanics because this batting stance looks a little different from the left side.)?
Thankfully Shields goes tomorrow(7 innings avg now makes bullpen everyone happy plus his dominance of the Sox at home including that 0-2 in the postseason), and doesn’t have to face a Lefty or someone good, just Penny with his 8.66 ERA, 1.98 WHIP & .320 BA, more potential BP, which we could definitely use. 11BB to 6 SO and 5HRs given up, makes tomorrow’s game seem very enjoyable.
