The more I think about it...
maybe we should have kept Gomes instead of Kapler? easy to say in retrospect but I would pull that trade in a heartbeat.

I wouldn't have when the decision time came.
Gomes bat was dead, and his defense was horrible. Comparing last year’s Gomes to this year’s Kapler, I’d take Kapler any day.
That being said, if both of them were on the wire right now and I needed a RF’er, I wouldn’t think twice about picking up Gomes.
