But I am not ready to give up on his potential because he is in an extended slump. I would love us to fire him then turn into the next Josh Hamilton. We’re not even half way through the year. There are worse things of this team than having BJ lead off.

Oh and Maddon has a pretty stellar track record, and I wouldn’t want any other manager beside maybe Torre managing us right now.
