Good to see Todd Kalas and the Rays getting into the mood for celebrating the Swine Flu Pandemic with the festive hat.
"Where we all wait in earnest with pudding in hand for the Upton comet to sail through the roofed skies, so that we may meet Him."

Is that a festive yarmulke on nelson's head?

Did anyone go out and talk with Kaz when he gave up those first two walks of the game?
I was listening to the game for the first two innings and I don’t think they mentioned a mound visit. When your first 8 out of 9 pitches are balls, you need to be calmed down. Also, what has to happen for Upton to be switched with Bartlett in the lineup?
I noticed that after Huff hit a sac fly, no one on the Orioles looked thrilled to congratulate him when he came in the dugout. They just gave him the pound and looked the other way. It’s funny to see that even his own team dislikes him.

Whenever Kazmir thinks he is ready, he should throw 10-15 more pitches in the bullpen.
Upton and Navvy back-to-back was killing us, really need to get them going, and in the mean time they shouldn’t be back-to-back.

I
I would say that I’m over Kazmir, but I was actually over him a year ago. While he is still young age wise, it’s not like the guy has been around for 20 minutes, and yet he still diddles around on a routine basis with the same piss poor habits. After a while, you’re not working through something so much as you’re just not as good as everyone says you are.

to me the issue is there is always--supposedly--something wrong with his mechanics
after every poor outing, he blames his mechanics. Then before the next start, he claims that he has adjusted it. Despite this, he walks the first two batters…
