Rehabbing major-league catcher Shawn Riggans, scheduled for five innings of defensive duty tonight, left with two outs in the top of the fourth. It looked like Riggans may have gotten hit by a foul ball. He went to the mound to visit pitcher Heath Rollins, manager Billy Gardner soon joined them, and Riggans left the game.

Catcher Shawn Riggans aggravated his right shoulder on a pickoff throw to first before leaving Thursday’s game.
“He felt something in there,” manager Billy Gardner said. “It was an awkward-type throw and he aggravated something.”
Riggans will be re-evaluated Friday, Gardner said. He’s scheduled to be the designated hitter in Friday’s game.

Gonna have to start calling Riggs, Mr. Glass.
Do what you love to do and give it your very best. Whether it's business or baseball, or the theater, or any field. If you don't love what you're doing and you can't give it your best, get out of it. Life is too short. You'll be an old man before you know it.
