Minor League Informer: Games of 5/7
AAA: Durham Bulls - 2, Charlotte - 10
So as you probably know, David Price got shelled. Four Innings and Six runs were the story, as well as his continual struggle for control this season cost him. Chad Orvella continues to not be a good pitcher, allowing sixteen earned runs in only ten innings. Also, John Jaso hasn't played in 6 games besides one AB today.
Other Notables:
Chris Richard - 1-4, HR
Matt Joyce - 2-4, R
AA: Montgomery Biscuits - 2, Birmingham - 9
Heath Rollins struggles mightily today, pitching only four and two-thirds innings, having a K/BB ratio of 1(Two each), and giving up six earned runs. Desmond Jennings went nothing for four, but did walk once. Rhyne Hughes went one for three with a walk, bringing his season line up to .231/.341/.538.
Other Notables:
Shawn Riggans - 0-1, K
A+: Charlotte Stone Crabs - 11, Palm Beach - 5
JESSE DARCY got the start, going four innings, but only giving up three runs, striking out two, and walking none. Matt Gorgen dominated the final two innings, striking out four, walking one, and only giving up one hit in his scoreless appearance. Ryan Royster had a great game last night, going 3-4 with a double.
Other Notables:
Cody Cipriano - 2-5, RBI
Matt Fields - 3-5, HR
A: Bowling Green Hot Rods - 1, Augusta - 2
Lefty prospect Matt Moore got the start, he only went four and two-thirds innings and he struck out nine, walked three, gave up three hits, and only allowed one run. Tim Beckham had the night off, and the only Hot Rod run came off an RBI double by Henry Wrigley.
Other Notables:
Jake Jeffries - 0-4
Mike Sheridan - 0-4

How is that bad?
Brad Ziegler had a scoreless inning streak. Brad Ziegler had not met BJ Upton.

As a resident Grammar Enthusiast,
I hereby declare that paragraph grammatically correct. However, one of the commas is unnecessary, though not incorrect.

Two unnecessary commas first sentance, and one in the second. The writing of a child.

Why is the words Innings capitalized?
And why is the word Six capitalized? Also, your closing sentence is weak. End on an emphatic note.

dissapointing
I was hoping his arm was to back to where it was a few years ago when he seemed like a potential closer for the major league club.

Got HBP(knee), should be back soon
He wasn’t placed on the DL but Durham did add another catcher in Alex Jamieson, so maybe a few more days for Jaso.
