started rooting for the Tampa Bay Rays in 2001 and will never stop
i hope that doesn't happen but every one remembers Prior was the can't miss pitching prospect
and then all the injuries and now he is moreless finished

This is baiting me. It has to be.
Tools Whore
I thought it was baiting me, because of the Prior/Contreras post.
Seriously, if Strasburg is Prior, there’s no shame in that, he’ll have one of the best pitching seasons known to man.

I'm baffled as to why the Cubs signed him with Ibanez & Abreu being available
Especially since they want him to field

because they are the cubs

I have MLB.TV
and I can’t stop watching the Milton Bradley play on archives. It is one of the funniest things I’ve ever seen.

thats exactly it
Abreu and Ibanez are completley laughable fielders. Its pretty ridiculous to play them anywhere but DH at this point in their careers
by Navi's_Navy on Jun 13, 2009 12:59 AM EDT up reply actions
I was watching a phillies game the other day and they were talking about how good Ibanez has been in the field
not sure if that has to do with the steroids or not though.
Both those guys are just as bad in the field
Rays Win!

At least they have a better health record then Bradley.
NL team choosing between three all-hit no-field OF’s, not a good idea in the first place, you might as well go for the one that has the best health record and doesn’t carry baggage like Bradley.
Good Point
But with Bradley it’s like having a bearded lady or a bear riding a unicycle. I would think about buying RF season tickets if I lived there and did not care about money just to laugh at his stupid ass all the time.

You forgot about the 30 clowns jammed into a first-gen Mini.

Wasn't Bradley decent during his time in SD in the field?
He’s just no-health.

Rays of Hope was gonna have a good time until you came along...
sure.. you saved him from a potential case of herpes, but as long as the Rays win while he’s here… It’s worth it.

Brad Ziegler had a scoreless inning streak. Brad Ziegler had not met BJ Upton.
