Colorado series should be interesting

The Rockies are white hot right now, looking forward to that one.

Randy Choate doesn't throw hard

but his fastball has some ridiculous break to it. Just thought I’d say that.

shh don't tell anyone

but that guy Brignac who is only supposed to help on defense is hitting .286. I know on here “tv” stats are hardly used but I hope we find a way to at least platoon him at 2B once Bartlett gets back.

Ehh

he tries to hit every ball out of the park, however he just gets really good wood on it.

This guy is truly clueless

Speaking about today’s game:

yodascoutPosts:5284

It’s all Clueless Joe’s fault … he tolerates mediocrity.

Today Sonny pitches 7 good innings … and he doesn’t take him out and put in Choate.

Of what practical purpose is it for Sonny to pitch the 8th inning with a 6 run lead?

Same trick as last time … The 4th time thru a lineup is not a good thing for just about
every pitcher in baseball. There is NO reason anyone needs to throw a complete game.

Sonny goes 7, you pull him. How dumb can you be as a manager

Anybody Else

Watching the highlights.

Pena’s homer was a BOMB, has to be in his top 5 for distance. Hit the bottom of the scoreboard/video screen in right.

by twenty5psi on Jun 14, 2009 1:10 AM EDT reply actions

Farthest one he's hit this year

It made the top 5 for Standard Distance (an estimation of how far it would have traveled under normal conditions) but it wasn’t top 5 for True Distance. Also the second fastest off the bat at 119.4 mph (Pujols had 119.6 mph).

I guess

Or at least the info is available for homers. It might only have homers from recent games and the data from all other types of batted balls is released later. I’m not really sure.
