A tribute to Jason Isringhausen
At first, your signing was a surprise, not a pleasant one for me to be honest. Also at the end of ST, I wasn't sure why they wanted to keep you so bad. To keep it going, I always felt sick when I saw you in the pen and nervous as hell when you were on the mound.
All that being said, you seem like a cool dude and besides that Indian game, you actually did well. I don't know if your career is over but if it is, I really feel bad you couldn't get those 7 saves. I know as a dominant closer for many years, that was prob your biggest goal left.
Although, it was always scary to watch you pitch, it was a horrible way to go out and I hope when/if you come back, some team gives you a shot and you get at least those 7 saves.
It looked very painful and I am sure emotionally, knowing it might be over, feels even worse.
I wish you luck and I hope you get a chance when you are healed. Over and out, Izzy, you were a cool dude.

dont break your hand
punching the tv again. if you want to keep playing go for it, just get TJ, rehab, smoke, get in shape, and sign another minor league deal. just not with the nats if you respect your career!
