Everyone's going to make a big deal about Burrell playing right field for one game. Don't.

You know

this chick, is starting to annoy everybody:

iluvgarzaPosts:12

ok since, I have been made to feel so incredibly WELCOME by the plethora of outstanding individuals on this msg board, and since not a single one of you could answer my question (that was asked to begin with) this will be my last post regarding this subject as well as my last post to this msg board. Since this is such a fine upstanding group of fans and they are so incredibly knowledgable regarding appropriate behavior. I once again will explain my daughter was one of the SEVERAL children waiting for a wave. I was only ONE of the parents stating how really crummy they thought it was that Slumpton couldnt even muster a wave.

Having said that here is the real issue, clearly the RAYS are not raking in the dough from the astronomical fan base that they currently have. The Rays org. is doing everything in there power to increase fan attendance to the games. Does ANYONE recall the topic from the managers and owners over the past season? “A more fan friendly organization….”

Oh yeah…now I remember, the Family Fun Days, the kids get to run the bases, Saturday concert series, free parking. Hmmm seems funny to me. Maybe……just maybe…….they are trying to increase there fan base.

Here is the bottom line if you all are the average fan……………no matter how much I love Garza I dont want any part of it. You have nasty attitudes, your rude, disrespectful, and judging from the tone and derrogatory remarks, you are made for the organization and vice versa.

It is a sad day when the wholesomeness of Baseball (you know like apple pie) has completely gone out the window. What a dispicable display ………really, I think I may have mistaken this board for the NHL msg boards.

As for those that wanted to know what I expected as an outcome-do you have jobs? Have you ever conducted business of any sort on a professional level?

A mere prefab email would have been more respectable than what I received, especially considering the person writing it repeated the same sentence twice. So let me state the obvious (which of course is just my opinion)

B.J. Upton ignores little fans, is lazy on the field (even the commentators confirmed that last week) , lately has a crummy attitude, the community relations department lacks professional communication skills, and………overall the fans on the organizations fan site are rude, disrespectful, classless and resort to insulting 5 year old little girls.

Good Day Sirs

No wonder they are rude, disrespectful, classless and resort to insulting 5 y/o girls. You keep blasting Beejus, you have problems.

I'm stopping

god….I remember the long journey it took for me to find this place. I traveled first through the hellish pits that were the Heater message boards, then sought refuge at the official site, only to be turned away by tripe. IRC rooms were the next best thing, but no one was ever on anymore. Then I found RaysBB, a pretty good site where I found a link to here, the promised land where I can sit and live out the rest of my internet days.

I could be wrong though

Burrell will be fine in right field

Price hasn’t given up that many hits, and when he does, they are usually ground balls that find holes. Worst case scenario: Pat gets a cramp in his thigh from standing around in the outfield too long, has to go on the DL, Aybar comes off the bench to replace him and whacks the crap out of the ball for 2 weeks.

Umm

I’m bored:

More and more last year is looking like a perfect storm in the bullpen…several people had career years and aren’t going to repeat those performances. You could extend it to several hitters as well. Chemistry…pretty scary….except we are scoring this year. The pitching is terrible this season.

Maddon got us over the hump last year…is he a guy to maintain it? Probably not.

Maddon plays russian roulette with our bullpen…playing percentages….unfortunately you need consistency to operate under his style. Not good. He is stubborn to a fault.

Without a severe shake up in our pitching lineup, we are a .400 ball club.

Where have you been the last 6 games?

“Playing percentages”, which I assume means playing to the numbers/facts = “playing Russian roulette”, which is basically “I have a 1 in x chance of dying.”

Yep, that works.

Also, I’ll give Selgy command of the site if we play .400 ball for the entire year.

I don't understand having interest in Pedro

He will cost too much for the bullpen. There is no way the marginal benefit of Pedro (say over Wheeler) will be anything close to worth the added cost.
