A horrible hitting pitcher and you throw him the same outside pitch over and over again so he can just stick his bat out and serve a base hit to right. I am amazed at his ineptitude. So many times I wonder what the hell he is thinking with pitch selection and pitch location (when the pitchers hit the target he calls for). God, somedays I wish we had drafted Weiters rather than Price….

I’m only 21, Once I have a more stable financial situation, I want to travel around the US checking out as many stadiums as possible

I have been to Marlins, Trop, Wrigley, Old Yank, Shea, U.S. Cellular, and a bunch of minor/spring training ones around Florida. I am going to St. Louis this year and probably Kansas City also.

I kind of have to agree:
I Know it has been rehashed a thousand times, but make this 1001. An article this week in the St. Pete Times has put it to the forefront of my thoughts on the Rays.
It has been called a dump, it is not located in the best area, no bullpens, artificial grass, It is loud, and some do not like the visual aspect of the building itself. I happen to like the Trop. It sure helped us last year.
I see the positives, the Sox and the Spankee’s hate to play here (reason enough for me), they cannot see pop ups, great for us. NO rainouts, no rain delays, no humidors…. It is usually never filled, I can buy a cheap ticket and walk down to the good seats most games, a thing I used to do, as a kid in Boston, at Fenway. It is always comfortable to watch a game here, (Fenway, Spankee stadium, no). No Midges, squirrells, pidgeons or seagulls to interfere with the game. I have not seen a Rat in the place, unless the Spankees are in town, although I have to admit they are probably there all the time….. When the game is over, I can walk to so many other places (Ferg’s, Downtown, etc.) rather than being stuck in the middle of Pinellas County, with nothing but strip malls………
So, what is the problem with the Trop? Seriously, let me know.

And he’s terribly boring to listen to. No sense of humor whatsoever.
I disagree
Kennedy managed two teams and has coached his whole life. Sure, his constant chuckling is irritating sometimes, but Staats strikes me as a guy who has no idea what he’s talking about. See, you just heard him do Color next to Todd…he had nothing to contribute in that area.
I felt like the interview with Stu was really awkward
