I was too...

but milb.com was being very uncooperative.

Brett Nom-noms is off to a good start. He may be my favorite player drafted.

Some minor league notes:

Hellickson and Kazmir both starting tonight. Beckham will start tomorrow in the AS game.

Justin Ruggiano is still relevant?

Was he ever, really?

He is what he is. Theoretically, he could still get called up if a bomb goes off in the clubhouse, so to that extent he’s relevant.

He had a good weekend, this wasn't based solely on prospects

I don’t believer you ever fully write a player off

Are you saying that Justin Ruggiano would benefit from believing in God, marrying a woman well past his rank, and taking swings with the Meknx bat?

"Anonymous player A: I'm in danger of seeing my baseball career end in the minor leagues. What should I do?"

I hope Nommenson does well

Every year, they draft a low-level college senior who put up video game stats, and I’m hoping one of them eventually pans out. That Nommenson can at least nominally play CF helps.
