All I will say about Price is he isnt the only problem, by far.

How about we try supporting our fav team, how about that? Instead of saying we suck and who need we to deal or who sucks, how about we do something crazy like discuss our real problems and discuss how we fix them?

Our defense is better than this, thats the biggest issue to me. Navarro can be a good defensive C, I mean he showed that last year.

Pat Burrell is disappointing but WHEN he breaks out, he will be our best 7 mil investment ever, patience people, patience, we arent 20 games out here.......

Either our whole staff sans Shields and Garza have lost the talent or Hickey needs to be fired, not the hitting coach, not Maddon, not even Foley IMO.

Niemann can sit at 98 in the pen or continue to slow games down and be meh in our rotation, time we make the wise move.

Sonny CAN NOT pitch on the road, its in his head at this point, Maddon needs to talk with him, his talks have a large success rate.

Maybe Willy should get some starts at DH against righties.

Back to our biggest issue, Longo needs to focus more, he rushes some throws and he throws high, if Pena was a litle shorter, it would be a disaster at 3B. Navarro needs to make sure his throws accurate, not throw fire to 2B and hoping he gets the runner out. Everyone else is doing their job normally,

Oh and Niemann should go to the pen so Cormier or Niemann can pitch meaningful innings instead of wiping up shit.

Lastly, more people need to come to the Trop and support the AL Champs who have been very good in June and righht there in the playoff race.

PS: Nolasco was a STUD last year and the Marlins diid what they had to and demoted him and now he's great again. Time for Sonny to figure things out in AAA. Davis and Kazmir should take their spots or 1 of them can keep their spot and our ground ball machine can come back.

Stop hating, stop whining, I just wrote a lot but this is something we can fix pretty easily. Go Rays, I, for one, do not think the season is doomed and watch all 9 innings even when we have games like last night,

And.....I am done.

That's a great point on Longoria

We’re really lucky to have an athlete at 1B.

I see a team that’s clearly not living up to its potential due to an aggregation of problems and not one glaring issues in particular. They’re not far from dominating.

We embarrassed the Rockies last week and they picked themselves right back up and took the series. We can easily do the same against the Phils.

Thats a rather dumb point about Nolasco

because he got sent down with a 4.7 FIP in a small sample size… thats the Marlins mistake, his “improvement” had more to do with regression than being sent down.

Is nothing to write home about.

Having watched Nolasco get shalled, he was throwing meatballs up there. His stuff was still good, but his fastball command within the strike zone had taken a step back. At that point it’s just a decision on whether or not you want to have him work on that at the major league level. They only lost him for 2 or 3 starts, right?
