Out of players with 150 PAs
Navi ranks like 235 out of 236 in OPS
Walking Navi was officially the dumbest thing i’ve seen in sports
We were wondering about that too.
It seemed to us that they were trying to get Navarro to swing at a pitch out of the strike zone, and when he restrained himself they decided to go after the righty rather than give Navarro something to hit. He had hit a liner to the wall the AB before. I still agree it was not smart, but I don’t think the intention was to walk Navarro from the start of his AB.
this is true, still 3-0 I challenge Navi.
Prior to that PA, Navi’s record after 3-0 counts this year is 0-3 with 1 walk
Hes definitely taking 3-0.
After 3-1 he has an OBP of .211 in 19 PA including last nights walk. His OPS .336.

The only counts Navi OPSes above .550 on are:
1-0 1.111
2-0 .818
1-1 .804
Beyond that hes been a cooked goose. No wonder his apporach is to hack.
