I did a little interesting math. We've played 76 games
and if you break that into equal halves we were 16-22 after the first 38 and 25-13 the second
If we repeat the second 38 twice we’ll be at 91 wins with still nine games to go
Sound good?
Go Rays

I was at the game last night
First Rays game I’ve made since the beginning of last season. I got stuck in front of a bunch of fucking annoying Marlins fans, who were ringing cowbells in my ear all night long. Pat Benatar kicked ass, though.

Wow Navi crushed that ball
Must be his all time record
Every now and then
He’ll turn on a pitch and hit an absolute no doubt shot, like his two grandslams he’s had with the Rays. I just don’t get why he can’t hit the ball with that type of authority more consistently.

Sonny’s got way more value as a starter, either on the 2009 team, 2010 and down the road, or as trade bait.

but he nees to be able to get through a later inning (post sixth) when he is in a bit of trouble.
It is a big growth moment for a young pitcher to get it done when you are in the 90+ pitch area, later in a game. He just hit 96 so fatigue is not an issue.

If hanley, ok, i get it, this was the 8/9 hitters with a runner on first and one out and a two run lead.
