Also, road game.
I can't wait until we trade him for a reliever.

Why so serious?
At least Shields isn’t pitching
Rays Win!

If Shields were pitching, this would be the first game in MLB history to end -1 - 0.
I can't wait until we trade him for a reliever.

Didn't we beat Halladay a few times last year?

We did, but it's a road game.
I can't wait until we trade him for a reliever.

We will see, Jays are not all that great, and i think Rolen is out

The Jays are pretty good.
Better than any team we’ve played in a while.

The Rays actually went 4-1 against Halladay last year.
So the managed him quite well. I seem to remember that all four of the wins were really close, well-pitched games by both teams, and the one loss was a Jays blowout.
Either way, this is an important series considering the proximity of the teams in the division, and the fact that the Rays have to start winning road games. 3-3 on that last road trip was disappointing. They should have gone 4-2 at least. They’ve lost a disproportionately number of bad road games to teams that just aren’t that good, and now they’ll have to really beat the good teams on the road to make up the difference. They can’t really afford any more 1 and 2 win road trips anymore.
I can't wait until we trade him for a reliever.

If at least half the questions aren't some variant of "How the hell did your (at the time) scrawny, doofy lookin ass manage to score THAT?", I'll be dissapointed.
I can't wait until we trade him for a reliever.

This doesn't mean much statwise but
Rays now surpassed the Los Angeles Dodgers in run differential for tops in MLB. LA is down 4-1 against Seattle so this could change later.

Upton's HR was the 100th for the Rays this season.
With 100 HR and 116 SB, the Rays are the sixth team in history to have 100 HR and 100 SB before the All-Star Break.

I called it
Saying they would get it today. I can’t imagine the Rays not hitting a homerun every home game, atleast 1 with the way they’ve been hitting the ball

SRQ's quotes from the game
A person said “Evan needs to stop swinging he isn’t having a good year”
A person said “J.P. can’t close he doesn’t have the mentality”
A person said “Gabe Kapler sucks and he can’t play good D”
A person said “Pena needs to bunt more”
