I think its been a combination of him getting some more confidence, less warm up pitches, and throwing more curves.
Oh, these are team games, not Niemann.

So dont get to excited yet….
He has had many positive signs his past 4 outings.
Confidence has been one of his biggest challenges. Last night can only help.
Also, curve-curve is important.
I’d like to see the fastball usage go down… but, he’s actually touching 94 (the Trop gun had him at 96) and located both the 4-seamer and 2-seamer consistently, then fuck it. As long as he remembers the curve is his go-to pitch.
