Anyone going to any of the games in New York this weekend?

Assuming the Rays get the sweep of the Royals today, a monstrous series with the Yankees awaits. I'm planning to go to the Friday and Saturday games and am wondering if any fellow Rays fans are going. Got to make sure we represent! Can't wait to sport my Price and Longoria shirts and be "that guy". Figure it couldn't hurt to find some other Rays fans to unite with. Fight the power!

After having spent so many childhood days in the real Yankee Stadium, I will never set foot in that pompous imposter. But yeah, should be a good series and a chance for the Rays to get right back into the race. Try not to get killed up there!

I saw a Twins series at Yankee stadium

I am living the dream

A girl I recently met wants to go out on a date to Yankee Stadium and see the Rays (well I guess she wants to see the Yankees) so I have 2 tickets, if she gets cunty by Saturday, you are now 1st on my list

Why?

I’ve gone to Yankees Stadium in Rays gear a bunch of times and never had a problem. Only the bleachers are an issue, and in the old days they had a separate entrance (I have no idea if that’s still the case).

Be there Saturday

Was going to go Friday too – but the weather looks terrible. Was up there in Sept last year when one of the games was rained out after I sat there forever…sucked.

Be in the bleachers (and wandering around the stadium) Tallest guy you’ll see in a Rays shirt.

I'll be in the bleachers Saturday, too.

I’ll be the short girl in a Rays shirt. I had more problems in Philly last year in my Rays gear than I did at Yankee Stadium. But this will be my first visit to the bleachers.

If tonight gets rained out and it sure looks like it will and Price goes tomorrow, he would be on 3 days rest for his next start which wont be happening.

Posting this from the Syracuse Airport, after spending the day at the Hall of Fame. Amazing. The Rays locker is mostly Devil Rays-ridden, but there’s a big display in the World Series room that has BJ’s cleats from the ALCS game where he stole three bases, his bat from the ALCS, CC’s jersey, a cowbell, and Maddon’s Elmer Fudd hat. Pretty sweet. I took pics. Maybe I’ll post them next week.

and I bought a Durham shirt, hat, and a Biscuits shirt at one of the little souvenir stores

If you see a guy in a light blue BJ shirt and black Rays hat this weekend at the stadium, say hey. I would’ve worn my Rays-colored Puma hightops, but there wasn’t room in the suitcase.
