Capps, Sanchez and Grabow for SS Reid Brignac, RHP Wade Davis, OF Desmond Jennings, and LHP Jake McGhee….. hows that sound??? the pirates get to clean house and get 4 promising young talents.
That is fucking outstanding. We get two guys who would be completely redundant in our pen along with another guy who would only make sense if we decided to deal two of Kapler/Gross/Joyce for a package that would probably net us Roy Halladay.
I say lets do it.
Jesus.
That’s two of the top three guys in our system for a slightly above average 2B and two relievers. Amusing.

Yeah that is a terrible trade offer
and I even like Sanchez a lot. Davis and Jennings are absolute studs and could easily bring in Halladay if we wanted to(which we wont) so why would we trade them PLUS Brignac and McGee for a reliever that has struggled all year and a guy that will pitch one inning every couple of days?
