7/18: Scott Kazmir vs. Zack Greinke (7:10 FSF)

7/19: Matt Garza vs. Luke Hochevar (2:10 FSF)

I'm tired of getting sappy over opposing team's pitchers, but we finally get to see Greinke. Hooray for getting to see the favorite for the AL Cy Young award, boo for actually having to face him.

With our luck

Kaz will have his best start of the season and we still lose to Greinke. That being said, we dont necessarily need sweeps right now, just series wins. Cant be upset with the Shields or Garza matchup. Lets start this streak tomorrow guys.

I'm not looking to replace anyone. I felt att the beginning of the season this

team was better on paper than ’08. It has underperformed.

btw, did you see the late news last night? The Ch 10 sports guy said the Rays had only converted 65% of their save oppurtunities. True?

Not 9th inning saves...

But that wouldn’t be surprising. They really struggled early i the year in the seventh and eighth. I think they only blew two saves in the ninth.

That’s also 65% of save opps. Since they’ve won so many games by a wide margin they haven’t had as many opportunities.
