Pat the Bat by 10 Game Increments
A couple of statistics, calculated from B-Ref, for Pat Burrell. These are by 10 game increments. This is the most success he has had all season, but I wouldn't necessarily expect it to continue to go this well with that Babip. He is making great contact right now, while maintaining good BB-rates. I like this PtB.

Thanks for catching that I started with /9 and then changed my mind and forgot to adjust the headers

Well, I wasn't sure how you would do it for batters besides PA/GP and so on, and that seemed like too much work.
Then I noticed the numbers were in percentage form and I figured you it was just a labeling error.

I've been thinking of how to present this stuff
His Last 30 numbers are getting real strong with a .480ish slg. He swings at almost nothing, which confirms the visuals. For instance, over the last 30 he has an 18% O-swing, 38.4% overall. It is really fun to watch a guy that refuses to swing unless you make a mistake or give him a keyholed pitch. Of course he is going to k a lot since he gets into so many 2 strike counts, but his walks make up for it.
