Yes Aybar's WPA is 0.000
No, WPA doesn’t take into account defense.
No, I’m not going to do it by hand.
No, WPA doesn’t matter beyond a game-telling metric.
That is all. Have at it.
What about CS?
Since, you know, that’s what actually cost us the game.

on some occasions they don't need to all have the green light
take your two chances with CC and Longo

so
price’s changeup is better than his slider
eek
Silver lining
Can the Rays really play much worse than they did tonight? And they still had all kinds of chances to win.
They can also not make three errors
swing at all kinds of crap, make outrageous baserunning blunders, and not get any base hits for seven innings.
Balfour slammed the door though huh?
Another induced DP. And he fell behind 2-0. Also overcame Aybar’s two errors.

Except for the parts where most people felt that the Yankees were the best team in baseball at the start of the season, the fact that the Yankees payroll is still 3.5 times higher then the Rays, and the team has absolutely zero young talent...
…yeah, I see the similarities.
I can't wait until we trade him for a reliever.
Probably the part about them
pulling wins out of their ass. Especially at home. Come on, they’ve scored six runs in the last three games and they won them all. That’s ridiculous.
This statment singularly contradicts anything you've ever said and makes me even more cynical of you going forward

I've thought that since they had those 3 walk-offs against the Twins
They have like 8 or 9 Walk-Offs now

if you'll check above i acknowledged tonite he was
but let’s turn the table, if Yuni was one of the Rays who has swung 2-0 yesterday against Balfour, how happy would you have been?
Yuni would never be a Ray
I like when guys swing 2-0 since that is either the best or 2nd best pitch you are going to see
