More proof Steve Phillips sucks...
I was perousing espn.com and stumbled across an article by Steve Phillips discussing the trade deadline, and what teams wer still in the AL hunt. Well, unfortunatelty, I have some bad news for everyone. Apparently the Rays arent even in the hunt for a playoff spot. I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but Steve Phillips said so. He says the Yanks and Sox are locks for the playoffs. He says it so casually it is amazing. Apparently the Rays might as well call up all the rookies and start dealing players.... Check it out for yourselves. Ugh!

HAHAHAHA....which one of you made this comment:
The Yankees and Red Sox appear headed to the playoffs? I’m sure Scott Kazmir for Victor Zambrano APPEARED like a good trade to you at the time but it wasnt……..the Rays are 4.5 games out of the lead 3.5 out of wild card…..see you in October ####

He didn't trade Scott Kazmir for Victor Zambrano
with all the things to make fun of this guy for, it amazes me people still pick something he didn’t do.

They do it because they know it aggrivates him, and because he's an idiot. I know he didn't do it; I really don't care, I say the same thing anyway.
I can't wait until we trade him for a reliever.

Steve Phillips...
…is wrong on anything to do with baseball. I sent an email to ESPN to tell them so, regarding the Victorino steal call the other night. Phillips said he was safe, since he did not go 3 feet out of the baseline; naturally, he was wrong, as he always is on everything…to do with baseball anyway.
