In addition to pursuing Blue Jays right-hander Roy Halladay and Indians lefty Cliff Lee, the Rays are gauging the value of left-hander Scott Kazmir and other players, telling teams, "they are open to anything."

am I think only one that could see us being buyers and sellers?
I think the FO is very high on both Brignac and Joyce and could see not only moving Kazmir but also Bartlett or Crawford (obviously not all 3 but 1 and maybe even 2 if the deals are right). Also possibly a bullpen arm (wheeler or Balfour). It is probably too complicated to pull off but a scenario where both Crawford and Kazmir are moved and Lee and Martinez added (not sure how the WAR’s would work out Joyce, Lee, Martinez > Crawford, Kaz, Navi). My guess is in this situation we would still be able to hang onto our top prospects or add another top guy if we have to trade Davis.
I think that is what happens TBH
I think the terms buyers or sellers is pretty outdated for new-age teams.
It is all about increases the overall and future WAR of the team while minimizing payroll. That could easily mean replacing Kazmir with Halladay but also Brignac for Bartlett
very interesting
