The last complete game pitched against Tampa Bay
I have watched damn near every game for the last couple of years and I am pretty sure we had 0 complete games pitched against us last year. That stat I never heard confirmed and I wouldn't dare ask here at DRaysBay because I do believe that I would jinx that streak. I really do not want to go through every box score but I am curious. Does anyone out there happen to know the answer to this question??
p.s. My guess would be September of 2007. That is just off the top of my head.
p.p.s. Hat tip to Buerhle...big time.

I'm not sure of this stat
but I know going into last night we did lead the lead in pitcher per plate appearance. That trend leads to not many complete game pitched against.
Roy Halladay actually pitched two against us last year. Both of them he lost.
I can't wait until we trade him for a reliever.
Oops, he had one
April 23rd of last year. But he did lose, so technically yeah that’s a CG.
I can't wait until we trade him for a reliever.
I thought 8 inning CGs didn't technically count as CGs?

All I was asking about was the CG.
Thanks for the stat kericr. You are a good man.
So the rays wents over 200+ games without having a pitcher throw a CG against them. They really do know how to wear down a pitcher, eh?
