Garza usually wears glasses during the day...
I wish he wore them at night

For the lulz
And Longoria's slicked back greaser Chase Utley wannabe hairdo is pissing me off.
Just wanted to get that off muh chest.
I don't wanna sound like a pessimist or a whiner
But After this series, lets say we take 2 of 3. and lets assume We gain 1 on both NYY & BOS. What is gonna be considered the line between contention & move excess? Rays are 7 back of NYY & 5 back of BOS in the L column and still gotta make sure the Rangers fade. and if they gain 1 on each assuming that the leads are 6 & 4 in the L column. What is the outcome that is needed to really be able to go for it?
I've maintained the line of 6-4 on the road.
I think it still lies there. But the more I see, the less I’m convinced that the Rays are going to do anything at all if they’re not buyers.
I can't wait until we trade him for a reliever.
And on the 6th day...
While this series is obviously important, I can’t begin to even fathom the importance of next week’s series against the Yankees. We will finally be back at home for the first time since the All-Star break and I see it as a very crucial, if not one of the most pivotal series of our season thus far. There is the opportunity to gain up to 3 games on the AL East leading Yanks, and there is also the potential to fall 3 games further out, which could greatly affect our role in the trade deadline talks. We can continue to talk all we want about Lee, Martinez, Halladay; if we fall to 9+ games out of first, and potentially 7+ out of the wildcard, we may not be so appealing of a destination. We could see our FO shift from potential buyers to sellers. The recovery from this series in Chicago, the next six days, will make the remainder of our season extremely interesting.
Take each game as they come
I don’t want to look ahead and nor should the Rays. They should only focus on the game of the day. If they can just do that, they will hopefully gain some ground.
and fuck the Yankees. They’ll hit their slump soon. Its due.
