Funny How Things Work Out
On June 1st, I made a post talking about B.J. Upton's pending batted ball regression. A poll was included, asking which range everyone thought his rest-of-season OPS would be from June 1st on. I threw in "Over .950" to weed out the weeders, and naturally they've been right so far. Upton's post-June 1st OPS sits at a robust .950 and today he was named the American League Player of the Month.
I'll get to work on those Navarro/Burrell polls...

Grats to BJ
Could you also do something on how Evan’s hammy is going to hold up for the rest of the season as well? I think that should take priority of PtB and Navi.
M.V.Z. Most Valuable Zorilla!
If he posts a .900 OPS from here on out this year will have been a total success
Maybe I’m just an old fashioned BJ suck-off-er. (Good call Sandy)

"Doesn't Manny Ramirez look like the monster from Predator??" - Will Farrell as Harry Carey
Jays have a horrid offense
How’d Shields give up three dingers to them?
We really need to pound that team
Horrid? At worst they are average.
Scutaro, Hill, Rolen, Lind all having great years Overbay is no slouch etc.
3 runs, 7 innings...
I’d take that everytime, even if we were playing the National’s Triple A team. lol. We have to score some runs for the man.
