Report: Rays Sign 16 Year Old Venezuelan Cesar Perez For $1 Million

Same kid as the post below, but we are starting to get more details about Cesar Perez as well as the money involved. SI's Jon Heyman posted this on his twitter

That's a nice chunk of change for the 6'2, 180 lbs third basemen. Perez is very young at age 16 and I've heard questions about his defense at third. Even if he doesn't stick at the hot corner, there have been whispers of him being able to move to the outfield. The big draw is his power potential. According to reports and everything else I can gather this kid shows a lot of pop from the right side.
