BAHAHAHAHA

I knew it, not every org can be wrong when a guy toils in the minors. At least we got something for him, maybe it’s their pitching coaches fault?

I didn't like him from the get, it is nice to have my opinions redeemed.

I hope he goes out and tears it up the rest of the year since someone is going to have to slow down these two freaking juggernauts we’re chasing.

It's one outing.

If he does this for another 40 innings this year, whatever, something wasn’t quite right, but to do it after one bad outing seems premature.

That's my middle na...

wait a tick, I agree, I was just never very high on him and it seems like some people were. K rates are great in the minors lets see it in the majors. Speaking of premature, is it too early to start salivating at the thought of Wade D. in the bullpen in about 2 months?

Eh Wade can stay in the minors for the most part

We don’t need him in the majors. Hard to improve upon a top bullpen. Especially when we aren’t willing to get rid of our more overpriced worse pitchers.

I know you are trying to be sarcastic

But a pitching coach comment on something like this is beyond retarded. It doesn’t make sense. A career minor leaguer that continues to suck in the majors isn’t your poster child to point out a pitching coach. Wait until a good player switches teams and suddenly shows a decline in performance in a short sample size.

Either way I’m not a fan of sarcasm when in reality you have no evidence of your underlying assumption. It is a bit ridiculous.

As I said in the GDT thread

I have limited my posting for when the game ends for now, anyway

Awesome Pat, he has half his homers off the Jays! He also has 3 of 4 off AL East teams

Congrats to Longoria, Bartlett, Zobrist, and Crawford. Vote for Pena!

The big difference was that SB

If Zobrist didn’t get to 2nd, he unlikely gets a pitch like that

Sharp knives and a magnifying glass.

I can't wait until we trade him for a reliever.

Okay, I am new to the site

and while I have a good idea of what WPA is, I find it hard to believe even though he had a bad day at the plate that B.J.’s WPA would be so low given that “game-saving” play at the plate.

by jqueipo on Jul 8, 2009 12:07 AM EDT reply actions

If it does BJ would be near the top

Further goes to show that no stat is perfect. BJ did have a horrible day at the plate, but he did make the most clutch play of the game.

I’m not the biggest fan of WPA. Like I think Shields should be at the top. Almost 8 innings of zero run ball leaving with men on base has to be at the top.
