Steve Phillips tells Price to JUST THROW STRIKES!!
Basically he says Price's problem is with the his control and that he will figure it out because he is competitive. Although I'm competitive and left handed, but I'm posting a fanshot instead of pitching in the major leagues.... hmmmmm. Oh and there is your obligatory comment that the Rays were fleeced in the Tiger deal.

God, he's dumb.
Scott Kazmir just returned from the disabled list, and his stuff just hasn’t looked the same and his ERA is 6.79.
In the GDT, I was remarking (and RJ says that stats back up my eyes) that Kazmir’s pitches as a whole look BETTER, not worse, then before his DL stint. Phillips has been a tool for some time though. I don’t even know why I’m remarking on this.
I can't wait until we trade him for a reliever.

Personally, I cannot spend too much time talking shit about that asshat.
He deserves everything he gets and then some for agreeing to do those ridiculously tarded “press conferences” 2-3 years ago. Some might say, “That was like 3 years ago.” To them I respond, “People don’t forget.”

I know this is a dead horse, but seriously, how does anyone put up with that awful analysis?
RJ had a great article recently about how Price is throwing strikes, he’s just not getting extra strikes from out of zone swings or better strikes from in zone whiffs. Why not? Well, hitters don’t miss or chase fastballs, Price isn’t putting his slider in good locations, and he doesn’t have an offspeed pitch. There, not only is that more intelligent, it’s more entertaining. RJ should be take SP’s spot on tv.
