Reid Brignac Recalled from Durham; Also Todd Glaesmann Signs

tborays#Rays recalled Reid Brignac from Durham

Brignac figures to get some playing time in place of Jason Bartlett/Ben Zobrist and this means the Rays are back to 7 relievers. Since the playoff hopes are down already, it would be nice to see Brignac get in the lineup against most right-handed starters. Unlikely, but nice.

Lancaster also breaks the Glaesmann news with this link. The talking points: A) Over slot, B) Like Jeff Malm, he'll report to the GCL Rays for the final few weeks.

Glaesmann is another Texas A&M commit who plays the outfield -- who hates us more at this point? LSU for Brignac/Hellickson, USC for T. Beckham/Malm, or TA&M for Rogers/Glaesmann? -- and has five-tool potential.
