Baseball World Cup

MLB Network has USA vs Germany on … well, right now apparently (in fact it’s an hour into the game).
I haven't seen any of it, and just have this to mention from yesterday's loss to Venezuela

The loss came in the 11th with another grand slam (but they give you free runners on 1st and 2nd in the extras to try and get the game finished so only 2 of those 4 were ER)
Looks like it was a good thing Childers was not in Durham on that date

It's called HDR Photography. (High Dynamic Range)
Basically a camera only gets a certain range of color. The human eye is far superior to a photo. So in order to make a High Dynamic Range Photograph, you must take a photo at three different ranges (one low res, one medium res, one high res) and combine them.
After some tweaking you get something that looks super real or something that looks like a super real painting. Some cameras can do the three field shots automatically but since I didn’t take this picture I had to make the three res versions myself in PS and Adobe LightRoom. Once you get that far you can tweak it in PS or a program called Photomatix to merge them. I used Photomatix in this case because it is more accurate and I can control it better than PS.
It’s a really awesome technique, I think…
