Burrell and Crawford exchange words

PrintLF Carl Crawford loudly confronted DH Pat Burrell in the Rays clubhouse before batting practice Wednesday, prompting manager Joe Maddon to meet privately with both players.
"It was nothing,'' Maddon said. "Honestly I talked to both parties, everything's good.''
Crawford declined to elaborate; Burrell was not available pre-game.
