All Time (2002 and later) WAR Rays Team
Fangraphs calculates WAR going back to 2002. I thought it worth a look to see how the all-time Rays WAR team would look.
The criteria:
-We are isolating individual seasons
-Players are only eligible for their primary position for that season
-Pitchers and relievers can only be credited for their best season as a Ray
-2009 obviously does not have final #'s. It will be fun to watch Bartlett pull ahead/fall behind Lugo.

Interesting that not one BP arm of '09 is found. That clearly is a big concern

2009 Balfour and Howell would both make this team
But of course they couldn’t make it twice.

Danys Baez should be 2005 (I think) he was dealt before 2006.

Hot Damn, that 7.3 WAR for Zobrist is hot.
Any idea what sort of trend we should expect from him going forward? Obviously this is probably not his true value, how do you determine what his real value is?

The lack of response has mainly to do with no on having a bloody idea.

Zobrist is #1 by a large margin
Wow. I thought Pena’s 2007 WAR would be a little higher, given the enormous offensive season he had, but I suppose his defensive rankings didn’t jump off the page.
It’s interesting that, despite the overall disappointing season 2009 has been, the Rays’ two best WAR seasons ever came this year.

I've always been a staunch Ruddy Lugo supporter
I thought he had above average stuff and didn’t suck nearly as bad as people thought.

I think you could go all the way back with CHONE's WAR values.
I don’t have the link, but he does his own all-time WAR.

Victor Zambrano would probably be near the top of the relievers
But his great relief season (2001) was pre-WAR.
